Isn't the word sin a bit strong? The Bible defines sin as "falling short of the glory of God." It is a failure to live up to our potential as beings created in His image or likeness. It means failing to love unconditionally like God loves, failing to be fair or kind or compassionate or forgiving, or even failing to be pure in our thoughts. Based on that definition of sin, we are all sinners. |
