Who We Are

TMS is a team of resources that strive to create the most efficient outcome for their clients. This outcome can be in the form of "discovery" to help answer the questions, "Do we really need it?" or "Can it pay for itself?" It can deliver an outline as a detailed Business Plan that provides the "total" picture for the proposed idea. For some it goes all the way out to the shape of designing and building of the idea. Regardless of the form, outline or shape of the outcome, TMS safeguards the mission for the clients we represent.

TMS is a Valued Engineered operation that utilizes a nationally experienced team of resources to deliver on this shared healthcare mission. We take seriously our responsibility to hold the entire project accountable to it as well.

Our President, John Johnson believes that "Time and capital resources that go to waste now, deplete critical patient care resources in the future."

JOHN JOHNSON
President
John began his management/service career as a Store Manager for a large chain, having total responsibility for operations and local marketing. This also gave John an incredible opportunity to listen and learn how to develop real relationships at the ground level.

He then became the Senior Account Representative for Paul Inman Associates. This led to his service on a variety of national advisory boards for companies such as Philips Lighting (Home Depot Business Development Team), Quaker Oats, Gatorade and Ocean Spray. It was during this time that he was part of the national development of what we now know as the single serve juice and bottled water categories.

John developed a national accounts program from scratch for a large marketing and consulting firm. Utilizing the resources that had been developed, this program quickly began to generate millions of dollars of revenue by virtue of product selections and operational recommendations. With clients that now included the largest national retailers and manufacturers, John began to search out other industries that could benefit from this approach.

Feeling a need to provide a broader scope of services that included design/build, project management and overall consult, John moved on to work directly with clients such as University of Michigan, Oakwood Enterprises, Detroit Medical Center, many affiliated physician groups, and the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Group.
