This is more than just an intellectual journey. If there really is a God whom we can know personally, then He must want some personal response from us, not just some distant intellectual acknowledgment of His existence. Sometimes it's uncomfortable because of pride in our skepticism and the realization that a move toward God would mean giving up that pride. |
