Three kinds of intolerance: Two good, one bad
The first kind of tolerance is legal tolerance, which means protecting everyone's rights to hold and express varying religious and political viewpoints. For instance, we should protect the rights of Buddhists and Muslims to practice their religion even though they may be a minority of the population.

The second kind of tolerance is social tolerance, which is respecting all persons regardless of the views they hold or the customs they practice. Every human being is made in the image of God and is of infinite value to God.
