Imagine that you have only one son, and you have a friend with only one son. You all head out to the lake for a Sunday afternoon picnic. While the dads are cooking hamburgers, the boys go for a swim, and your friend's son gets out too deep and starts to drown. Your son attempts to save him, knowing that it might cost him his own life. Let's imagine further that your son is successful in saving your friend's son's life but that he drowns in the process. |
