A cute story illustrates this. A little boy was helping his dad with some chores around their ranch. He was trying to move a huge rock out of the path and was grunting, groaning and straining, all to no avail. His dad watched him and finally said, "Son, are you using all your strength?" "Dad!" said the boy. "Can't you see that I am?" His dad said, "But you're not, Son. You haven't asked me to help." Our loving Father in Heaven is eager to help, but we need to ask and then, of course, remember to thank Him. |
