I thought Christians were supposed to be perfect
Some may wonder how you account for the fact that, in spite of their Christianity, they still may be "worse" than someone who is not a Christian.

If a person is a believer in Christ and if the Bible is true, it doesn't mean that he or she will be "better" than you. The promise is that the person will be better than he or she used to be, not necessarily better than you. If you want to find out what a difference Christianity makes, you have to look at the individual person and know something of his or her history and know something about what he or she would be like without having become a Christian.
