Now let's first take Hitler, perhaps the worst example we can think of. He gets only a few yards off shore before he drowns in ankle-deep water. A good friend of yours gets, let's say, five miles. Suppose you get 10 miles, and Mother Theresa and Ghandi swim 100 miles off the shore. Mother Theresa got 10 times farther than you, you got twice as far as your friend, and he certainly got hundreds of times farther than Hitler. |
