The ancient city of Tyre
The prophet Ezekiel predicted that King Nebuchadnezzar and other kings would not only destroy the city of Tyre on the Mediterranean Sea but would throw its debris into the water. Within 15 years, Nebuchadnezzar destroyed the mainland city, but its inhabitants moved to a nearby island. Two centuries later, Alexander the Great took debris from the destroyed city and threw it into the water in order to form a causeway out to the island so his men could destroy the island city. Remember, Ezekiel lived and wrote more than 200 years before Alexander the Great.
