Surveying the Current Environment

TMS provides methods of creating some of the highest survey responder rates. It is critical to achieve the highest amount of feedback as possible from staff, visitors and patients. We provide daily response feedback with data and graphing. Our goal is to give responders as immediate affirmation as possible.

ONLINE SURVEYS
As an example, during the months of May and June 2007, TMS developed and made available to the entire Saint Joseph Mercy campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan, surveys that could be filled out by going to a specified and secured web link. The surveys were designed to properly identify the typical spending and shopping habits for those potential customers (Staff, Visitors and Patients) who frequent the campus.

The first survey was distributed in the first part of May as a staff only response. We wanted to capture staff specific data and communicate the value that comes from their individual feedback. What follows is a condensed version of those findings.

We wanted to determine the key factors for the staff needing to leave campus during their work day to access specific needs for services. There were very weighted responses that spoke to the need for food choice, stress relief and home needs.

It is important to keep it brief, but productive. The design of the survey requires full response to questions to ensure a consistent level of feedback.

Providing The Best Return

It is important to know the full scope of capabilities for growth and positive community impact. By looking to certain demographical indicators, we can determine what efforts and which offerings will provide the best return.
