Blended Learning and Training

Having a staff that shares in the common mission and overall culture of the hospital is key. TMS’ resource group has developed training modules for some of the largest corporations in the nation. They have identified value added module designs that will greatly increase the impact and retention of the training the staff will receive. With a broad application that impacts staff turnover rates (a very costly by-product of poor training) and overall employee satisfaction, our training methods will provide tremendous cost savings. In addition, the continued training verifications continue to improve and assess staff performances for advancement or reassignments.

What The Staff Wants

There was a time when John Johnson had the responsibility of overseeing a staff of 120 workers. He conducted countless interviews of his existing staff to find out what they really wanted from him to be happier in their work. Nothing was taboo; including what he thought would be the number one answer…..money. John was completely surprised by the countless responses that stated "We really need to know what is expected of us each day,” or some put it, “What are my daily tasks so that I know I am performing at my best." An even greater surprise was that the money issue was fourth after "An occasional reward day off for good performance," and "better supplies."
